No Refund Policy

Effective Date: 24 July 2026

The Kala Kunj Annual Online Drawing Competition 2026 is an online competition organized by Kala Kunj Art and Craft Institute. A nominal, non-refundable registration fee of ₹299 (Rupees Two Hundred Ninety-Nine only) is charged for each artwork submitted.

By registering for the competition and making the payment, the participant (or their parent/legal guardian, where applicable) agrees to the following No Refund Policy:

1. Non-Refundable Registration Fee

• The registration fee of ₹299 per artwork is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.

• The fee covers administrative, technical, evaluation, and operational expenses incurred in conducting the online competition.

2. Failure to Submit Artwork

• Participants are solely responsible for uploading their artwork within the stipulated submission period.

• If a participant fails to submit the artwork before the prescribed deadline for any reason, including personal reasons, internet issues, technical problems, illness, oversight, or any other circumstance, no refund, credit, extension, or transfer of the registration fee shall be granted.

• In such cases, the registration shall be treated as forfeited, and the registration fee shall stand forfeited without any liability on the part of the organizers.

3. No Refund in Other Circumstances

Refund requests will not be entertained in cases including, but not limited to:

• Failure to upload artwork within the deadline.

• Withdrawal from the competition after registration.

• Duplicate or accidental registrations.

• Incorrect information provided during registration.

• Disqualification due to violation of the competition rules or Terms & Conditions.

• Change of mind after successful registration.

• Internet connectivity issues, device malfunction, software errors, or other technical problems on the participant's side.

• Any circumstances beyond the control of the organizers.

4. Payment Issues

• Participants are responsible for ensuring that payment is made through the official payment channels provided by Kala Kunj.

• Kala Kunj shall not be responsible for payments made to any unauthorized person, personal bank account, UPI ID, QR code, or any payment channel not officially notified by the organizers.

• In cases where a payment is successfully received by Kala Kunj, the registration fee shall remain non-refundable.

5. Competition Cancellation

If the competition is cancelled by the organizers due to unforeseen circumstances, force majeure, government orders, or any event beyond the reasonable control of Kala Kunj, the organizers reserve the right to decide the appropriate course of action regarding registrations. Such decision shall be final and binding.

6. Acceptance of Policy

By making the registration payment, the participant (or their parent/legal guardian) confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted this No Refund Policy and agree that no refund shall be claimed or demanded after successful registration, irrespective of whether the artwork is submitted or not.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This No Refund Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Ranchi, Jharkhand, subject to applicable law.
